Job Description

Robert Half Contract Talent wants to fill the position of Collections Specialist in the city of Santa Barbara. This is a temporary opportunity for veterinary team doctors with a profitable attitude. Major responsibilities include:


Identify abusive customer accounts in a variety of ways, including tracking, telecommunications, written correspondence, and payment arrangements

Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work product

It will be the link between maintaining a high quality customer service and a positive image of the company by resolving customer account queries.

Direct all payment and reporting activities according to the last days

Manage inbox, customer requests and queries related to their account and account status.

Identify and resolve outstanding account receivables, including identifying underlying issues.

Work with Credit Analyst and participate in the standard AR switching process to assist in the AR aging process

Follow all the rules and regulations of the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act

Demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication and excellent customer service skills when working with customers


Job Requirement

BS / BS degree in Accounting or Business or 3+ years of experience in accounting or employment

1+ years of previous experience in the field of collections, especially the most sought-after commercial collections

You must have a complete understanding of Accounts Receivables

Verbal and written communication skills have the potential to receive constructive criticism

Computer software requirements include greater efficiency in Google Suite (especially Excel) and ERP programs such as SAP and Oracle

Each person has a strong sense of identity and attention to detail
