The duties of the procurement authorities include:
Manage day-to-day shopping activities, including targeting work assignments; to provide leadership in determining the appropriate procurement process; ensuring contract compliance; review, evaluation and analysis of bids; the bid award process process; leading special project teams; and to manage, maintain and review physical administration procedures for all contract documents.
Complex procurement, and sensitivity to ensure effective procurement in accordance with national and provincial laws and Board policies. Plans, organizes and directs the request process including drafting and issuing RFP, RFQ, developing bid evaluation methods and guiding district staff on relevant processes. Prepares award recommendations; analyzes, negotiates and prepares contractual agreements.
Manage procurement activities, assist departments to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to when purchasing goods and services. Development and implementation of procurement policy and procedures for incorporating training and liaison with organizational staff.
Follow the requirements of purchase orders, policy compliance reviews. Provide guidance and training to trade unions on procurement rules, policies and procedures. Prepare and distribute purchase orders, speed up delivery and shipping. Perform all vendor management tasks.
Manage the integration of purchases of all properties and services, including ensuring that appropriate items are ordered, received and packaged. Provide guidance to employees in selecting and purchasing available items, furniture and equipment
Manage, manage and analyze all credit card purchase solutions to work as a credit card manager. You have a responsibility to maintain adherence to card policies and procedures, including employee compliance. Responsible for reconciliation, auditing and monthly reporting.
Develop, maintain and manage a fixed asset plan to include reconciliation and recording of all organized assets. Provide training and guidance to staff on annual asset collections and fixed assets and prepare all required asset reporting as required by an independent annual audit of the organization.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or associated discipline.
Over 5 years’ experience in purchasing, inventory manipulate and/or warehousing
